Doing the Bedtime Happy Dance

I’m absolutely thrilled right now—I can hardly sleep! Just last week, I received a heartfelt request for help from a woman searching for her boyfriend’s father. His father had been absent for over 25 years, having last seen him when he was just a baby. After moving away, the mother took him with her, and now, as he approaches 30 and prepares to start his own family, he is eager to reconnect with his dad.

In an interesting twist, her last message to me had gone unnoticed for several days. Just as I was about to hit the hay, I decided to take a quick look at it. The last name seemed so incredibly common, and I thought this was going to be quite a challenge. But to my astonishment, I was able to wrap up the search and solve the case in under an hour! It all came down to one simple detail—the father had a “lazy eye.” Out of dozens of individuals sharing the same name and age group, only one matched that distinct feature.

I’m holding onto hope that their reunion goes beautifully and that a new, cherished relationship can blossom between this father, son, and soon-to-be grandfather!
